We are currently seeking a motivated Casual Dental Assistant to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is passionate about patient care and thrives in a professional, fast-paced clinical environment.
About the Role
As a Dental Assistant, you will play an integral role in supporting our orthodontic team and ensuring a seamless patient experience. You will work closely with our specialist orthodontist and clinical staff to maintain high standards of care and efficiency across all aspects of the practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and prepare patients for orthodontic procedures in a professional and welcoming manner
- Provide chairside assistance during clinical procedures
- Maintain sterilisation protocols and assist with infection control procedures
- Support stock control and inventory management
- Assist with laboratory duties as required
- Contribute to general housekeeping and maintenance of clinical areas
- Communicate effectively with patients, clinicians and team members
About You
- Well-presented, reliable, and demonstrates a strong work ethic
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Previous dental assisting experience is highly regarded, but not essential for the right candidate
