Spinifex Brewery is seeking an experienced Bar Supervisor to join our hospitality team in Broome.
The Bar Supervisor will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operation of the bar, supervising staff, maintaining high customer service standards and ensuring the venue operates safely and in accordance with relevant liquor licensing and RSA requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supervising bar staff and day-to-day bar operations
- Providing a high standard of customer service
- Training and supporting team members
- Ensuring RSA, liquor licensing and venue procedures are followed
- Stock control and assisting with ordering and stocktakes
- Opening and closing duties
- Maintaining cleanliness and presentation of the bar
- Supporting compliance with WHS and food/beverage safety requirements
- Handling customer enquiries and complaints appropriately
- Assisting management with the smooth operation of the venue
To be suitable for the role, applicants should have:
- Previous experience in a busy hospitality or bar environment
- Previous supervisory or team leadership experience
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Good organisational and problem-solving skills
- The ability to lead and support a team
- Current RSA or ability to obtain the required WA certification
- Availability to work evenings, weekends and public holidays as required
Salary: $75,000–$85,000 per annum + superannuation
