We’re looking for experienced Anaesthetic Nurses who are eager to deepen their expertise and gain exposure to some of the most complex and high‑acuity cases in NSW.

Formed in 1882, Royal Prince Alfred Hospital (RPAH) is a major metropolitan tertiary referral hospital and a principal provider of specialist healthcare. It remains one of the nation’s most respected hospitals, with a distinguished history serving the health needs of local, statewide, national and international communities.
Join our dynamic team and expand your skills in Cardiac, major abdominal and hepatobiliary surgery, liver transplants and a wide variety of complex surgical specialties. You will work within a highly experienced multidisciplinary team, supporting advanced anaesthetic services while delivering safe patient-centred care in line with ACORN standards.
For the first six months, the role will involve shift work before transitioning to a rotating roster. Training will include SIMS and classroom-based studies.

Ideal Candidate
- Current nursing registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA).
- Understanding of evidence informed practice and critical thinking.
- Commitment to person centred care and NSW Health Core Values.
- Effective interpersonal skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills within a multidisciplinary team.
- Three years or more experience in critical care.
