CHL is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of complex housing and development projects from inception through to completion. You will provide strategic leadership across all phases of the project lifecycle, including feasibility, planning, design, procurement, construction, handover and defects management, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
As a trusted advisor, you will build strong relationships with consultants, contractors, government agencies and delivery partners, providing commercial oversight, driving effective governance and managing project risks to achieve successful outcomes. This is an opportunity to play a key role in delivering projects that create lasting social impact while contributing to the ongoing growth and success of CHL.
This is a permanent, full-time role based in Subiaco, Western Australia, offering a competitive salary, superannuation, salary packaging and flexible working arrangements.
What you will do
You will drive complex housing and development projects from early feasibility through to handover, keeping delivery on track, on budget and aligned to CHL’s standards.

Lead projects from feasibility to handover and defects.

Own budgets, forecasts, cashflow and cost control.

Coordinate consultants, designers, builders and delivery partners.

Oversee approvals, procurement, contracts and construction performance.

Keep governance, risk, documentation and reporting sharp.

Build trusted relationships across agencies, partners and teams.

Support acquisitions, turnkey and contract of sale projects.

Mentor others and improve delivery practices.
What you will bring
You are an experienced project leader with a proven track record delivering complex property, development or construction projects from concept through to completion. Commercially astute and highly collaborative, you excel at managing stakeholders, navigating competing priorities and delivering successful project outcomes.
You will have:

5+ years' experience in project management, property, development, construction, housing or a related field.

End-to-end development delivery experience across feasibility, approvals, design, procurement, construction, handover, defects, acquisitions, turnkey and contract of sale projects.

Strong capability in budget management, procurement, contracts, consultant coordination, design management, risk and governance.

Sound commercial judgement and confidence making decisions in complex environments.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience working across government, consultants, contractors and delivery partners.

Collaborative leadership with a track record of mentoring and developing others.

Strong problem-solving, negotiation and relationship management skills.

Relevant tertiary qualifications in property, project management, engineering, construction or a related discipline (desirable).

Proficiency in project management methodologies and the Microsoft Office suite.

A genuine commitment to delivering quality housing outcomes and stronger communities.
