WA Industrial Cylinder Engineers is a privately owned industry leader specialising in the manufacture, overhaul, and repair of hydraulic cylinders for heavy mining mobile equipment. Due to continued growth, we are seeking a reliable and motivated Trades Assistant / Storeperson / Truck Driver – All-Rounder to join our Day Shift team at our modern, well-equipped Perth workshop.

About You
You are a reliable, hardworking, and self-motivated team player who enjoys a varied role and takes pride in supporting workshop operations. You will have:
- Current Australian C Class Driver's Licence (minimum)
- HR Licence (highly desirable or willingness to obtain)
- Forklift Licence (LF) or willingness to obtain
- Current Dogging Licence (DG) – desirable
- Previous experience as a Trades Assistant, Storeperson, Truck Driver, or similar role
- Good mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn
- Experience using forklifts and overhead cranes (desirable)
- Basic computer skills for stores and inventory management
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A strong commitment to workplace safety and attention to detail
Key Responsibilities
· Assist tradespeople with hydraulic cylinder disassembly, assembly, and workshop activities
· Pick, pack, receive, and dispatch parts and components
· Load and unload trucks safely using forklifts and overhead cranes
· Safely sling, lift, and move hydraulic cylinder components using overhead cranes and lifting equipment (where appropriately licensed)
· Complete local deliveries and customer pick-ups
· Maintain inventory accuracy and assist with stock control
· Keep the workshop, stores, and yard clean, organised, and safe
· Assist with general workshop and yard duties as required
· Support production to ensure customer delivery deadlines are achieved
· Comply with all workplace health and safety procedures and company policies
