As a Youth Program Coordinator, your key responsibilities include:
- Coordinate the VETDSS application-to-enrolment process within required timelines, ensuring alignment with organisational requirements and external partnership agreements.
- In collaboration with program delivery areas and the Education Manager, ensure compliance with VDSS attendance reporting obligations and liaise with schools to communicate any areas of concern.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, school partners, and key education networks to support the Institute’s objectives.
- Represent the Institute at external VDSS cluster reference group meetings, Local Learning and Employment Network (LLEN) committees, and career or related events, and communicate key outcomes and recommendations to Chisholm management.
- Deliver high-quality, timely customer service to a diverse range of stakeholders, including students, schools, and other education-focused organisations.
- Deliver information sessions and coordinate Institute tours for secondary colleges to promote VDSS programs and support future enrolment growth.
ABOUT YOU
You are a highly motivated individual with well-developed skills in coordinating VETDSS, VCAL or VCE programs and administrative operations.
Qualifications required for the role
Essential
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and experience; or lesser formal qualifications with substantial experience and specialist expertise or broad knowledge in technical and administrative fields; or a suitable combination of relevant qualifications and experience
Desirable
- Career Education Qualifications
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
