About the Role:
This is an opportunity for a Clinical Neuropsychologist to join a supportive and collaborative Neuropsychology team in the Division of Mental Health, Justice Health, Alcohol and Drug Services (MHJHADS). In this position, you will be providing neuropsychological services across MHJHADS including:

Child & Adolescent Mental Health Services

Adult & Older Persons Mental Health Services

Alcohol & Drug Services

Non-Acute Mental Health Inpatient Services
In this position you will be promoting positive client outcomes through high-quality services, providing individual or group service delivery, performing regular professional work under general professional guidance and may perform novel, complex, critical, or difficult tasks with professional supervision.
The Neuropsychology team is located centrally with easy access to shops, restaurants, public transport, and parking. Support for professional development (internal and external training) is available to employees of Canberra Health Services.

Please note prior to commencement successful candidates will be required to:

Undergo a pre-employment National Police Check.

Comply with Canberra Health Services Occupational Assessment, Screening and Vaccination policy.

Comply with CHS credentialing and scope of clinical practice requirements for allied health professionals.
Notes: This is a temporary part-time position available for 8 months, with the possibility of extension. Appointment may be made at either Psychologist Level 3 (14.7 hours per week) or Psychologist Level 2 (18.4 hours per week), depending on qualifications and experience. The full-time salary noted above will be pro-rata. Selection may be based on a written application and referee reports. A merit pool may be established from this recruitment process and will remain valid for 12 months.
