About You
The Content Coordinator at Journey Beyond will be able to showcase their strong copywriting skills across social, EDM, web, brochure, and editorial formats, with the ability to adapt voice and tone for different brands, audiences, and channels. They have high standards for accuracy and storytelling, and a sound understanding of how content supports brand building and commercial objectives. They will be confident working across Instagram and Facebook, with knowledge of Meta Business Suite, Brandwatch, Canva, basic image editing, SEO principles, and an awareness of how GEO and AEO are shaping content discoverability. You'll also have an understanding of how AI is shaping content creating and distribution and the editorial judgement to know when and how to use it well. Highly organised, collaborative, proactive, and calm under pressure, they will be comfortable managing multiple projects and brands simultaneously, contributing ideas, meeting deadlines, and championing content as a driver of brand success across the Journey Beyond portfolio.
This role suits someone who takes pride in the craft of writing, understands how content builds brand, and is looking to grow within a team that puts storytelling at the centre of everything it does.
You’ll bring:

A degree or diploma in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

2+ year’s experience in a content or communications role — agency or in-house.

Experience in travel, tourism, or lifestyle brands is desirable but not essential.

A strong editorial eye, sharp proofreading skills, and a solid working knowledge of content marketing.
About The Role
This newly created Content Coordinator role will support the Editorial and Content Manager in bringing Journey Beyond's stories to life across a broad range of formats and channels.
Working closely with the Marketing teams within the brands, you will produce copy across social, digital, and print, contribute to the editorial production of Journey Beyond Magazine, maintain the group content library, and support brand teams across the portfolio with content that is accurate, on-brand, and genuinely well-crafted. This role will support Journey Beyond's social media presence - contributing to content strategy, planning, copy, and execution across the group's channels and brand portfolio.
This role offers hands on experience in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities will include:

Support the Editorial and Content Manager with copy tasks across brochures, itineraries, and broader marketing collateral

Support the growth of Journey Beyond's long-form video presence on YouTube, assisting with content coordination, uploading, titling, tagging, and playlist management in line with SEO best practices.
- Manage the day-to-day publishing and scheduling of content across the Journey Beyond Group social media channels, ensuring a consistent and well-timed presence across Instagram and Facebook.
- Support the end-to-end production of Journey Beyond Magazine, assisting the Editorial and Content Manager with coordination, scheduling, and delivery tasks across each edition.
