Fit Futures is a leading provider of sports education across Sydney, delivering engaging PDHPE programs (Athletics, FMS, Dance, Gymnastics, and Ball Skills) to primary school students. Role Summary
We're seeking a talented Primary PE Teacher to join our Killara-area programs, starting Term 3, 2026.
You'll become part of a team of committed PDHPE and primary school teachers who specialise in making lessons fun, engaging, and enjoyable for kids. Our team is dedicated to helping students keep a positive mindset, develop new skills, and grow their confidence.
Most of our programs follow a regular weekly structure across the term, meaning you'll be teaching the same classes and building relationships with the same students and teachers each week.
This role offers excellent hands-on teaching experience within a fun, inclusive, and supportive team, while helping students realise their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day teaching, learning, and instruction
- Deliver high-quality, age-appropriate PE lessons to primary school children
- Teach across the various components of our PDHPE curriculum
- Promote the Fit Futures brand within schools and the broader community
- Foster strong relationships with students, teaching staff, and colleagues, consistent with the Fit Futures philosophy
Essential Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education (or equivalent)
- DET number (NSW Department of Education employee number)
- NESA Accreditation (some only require NESA)
- Valid Working with Children Check
- Eligibility to work in Australia
- Available during school hours, 8:30am–3:30pm
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Personal Qualities
- Energetic, fun-loving, thoughtful, and ambitious
- Punctual and capable of working both independently and as part of a team
Preferred (not required)
- 1+ year teaching experience in Gymnastics, Athletics, FMS, or Ball Skills
- Level 1 or higher coaching accreditation, particularly in Gymnastics or Athletics
- Driver's licence and access to your own vehicle
