Part-Time Cook – Café | Castle Hill
Coffee Trad3rs Castle Hill is looking for an experienced and reliable Part-Time Cook to join our kitchen team.
We are a busy local café serving breakfast and lunch and are looking for someone who is comfortable working in a fast-paced café kitchen and takes pride in preparing quality food.
About the Role
You will be responsible for preparing and cooking a range of café breakfast and lunch dishes while maintaining consistent food quality and kitchen standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing and cooking breakfast and lunch dishes
- Working efficiently during busy service periods
- Food preparation and general kitchen duties
- Maintaining food quality, presentation and portion consistency
- Following food safety and hygiene requirements
- Keeping the kitchen and work areas clean and organised
- Working closely with other kitchen and front-of-house team members
- Assisting with stock preparation and kitchen organisation as required
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has previous experience working in a café kitchen
- Has good cooking and food preparation skills
- Can work efficiently and independently during service
- Is reliable, punctual and organised
- Works well as part of a team
- Has a good understanding of food safety and kitchen hygiene
- Is available for both weekday and weekend shifts
Hours & Availability
This is a part-time position, approximately 4 shifts per week:
- 2 weekday shifts
- Saturday and Sunday
- Weekday shifts can be discussed based on availability
Kitchen operating hours:
Weekdays: 6:30am – 3:00pm
Weekends: 7:30am – 2:30pm
Daytime shifts only – no night work.
Pay: $51,300.00 – $57,000.00 per year
