Full Job Description:
T.M.R. (Total Metal Recyclers ) is a mid-size family operated metal recycling business with warehouses in Rockingham, Osborne Park, and Wangara.
Our Wangara warehouse is currently seeking a motivated Labourer to join our processing team
This position is a direct “hands on” processing role in which the individual should be prepare and capable of undertaking. The role will require physical labour.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Promptly follow detailed instructions given by your supervisor
- Undertake duties in a safe and responsible manner
- At all times ensure appropriate safety gear is worn before undertaking all tasks.
- Maintain a neat, clean and safe work environment
- Responsible for the quality of your own work
- Recording stock output in your assigned work area
- Safely use the machinery in the manner the manufacture intended it to be used.
- Ensure good maintenance of equipment (maintenance, troubleshooting)
- Ensure that all paperwork is processed in a timely and efficient manner.
The Ideal candidate will:
- A minimum of at least two (2) years actual labouring experience demonstrating the use of mechanical and electrical hand tools and stationary processing equipment.
- Current forklift licence
- Sound Mechanical aptitude. ·
- Be motivated with a ‘proactive’ attitude.
- Someone who is detailed orientated.
- Has good problem-solving abilities.
- Capacity of working in a team and on their own.
- Citizenship, or visa capacity to work – five days a week
- Knowledge of metals would be a plus but not necessary.
Immediate start and expectation of 40h+ per week.
