POSITION SUMMARY:
Aussie Life Care is seeking a passionate and dedicated Disability Support Worker to join our team in Community Participation. As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a pivotal role in empowering individuals with disabilities to achieve their goals and live independently. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- General household cleaning and maintenance
- Laundry and linen changes
- Assistance with household organisation
- Supporting participants to maintain a clean, safe and comfortable home environment
- Encouraging independence and dignity through person-centred support

REQUIREMENTS:
- To be successful in this role, it is a requirement that you have Certificate 2 or 3 in Individual Support, Disability or related field
- Good communication skills
- Experience in domestic cleaning and maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic home environment
- Ability to complete household tasks efficiently, including cleaning, laundry, tidying, and general household upkeep
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high cleaning standards
- Reliable, organised, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good time management skills and ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Friendly, respectful, and professional approach when working within the participant’s home
- Ability to follow instructions and maintain consistency in cleaning routines
- Physically capable of performing manual household cleaning tasks
