About the role
In this role, you will play a central part in strengthening Metro North Health's capability to manage emergencies and major service disruptions. You will oversee the coordination and ongoing optimisation of the NOGGIN incident management system, ensuring it is effectively embedded across the organisation. Working closely with clinical and corporate teams, you will support the delivery of training, drive system adoption, and contribute to initiatives that enhance preparedness and response practices.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
Provide advice on disaster, emergency and disruption policy, planning and education to senior and supervising staff as required to support Metro North Health and its Directorates.
Support the implementation of disaster, emergency and disruption related projects, using recognised project management methodologies.
Support the development of local education and training content in collaboration with local subject matter experts.
Coordinate and schedule the delivery of education and training interventions in collaboration with local subject matter experts.
Participate as a member of a team in service development, evaluation and quality improvement activities to ensure continuous provision of quality services.
