Factory Blinds is a window furnishings retailer located in Launceston, Tasmania, Australia. The business is locally owned and staffed with our showroom located at Invermay and the workroom and admin offices located at Prospect. With a team of 25+, Factory Blinds services Launceston & suburbs, Tamar Valley and the northern Tasmania region.
The job on offer is for a senior accounts clerk operating with the MYOB software system. Ideally the successful candidate will hold Cert 4 accounting and bookkeeping certification including payroll or have a proven track record in work experience.
The job includes data entry of accounts payable & receivable and payroll (if certified) and end of month using MYOB software. Additionally there is purchase ordering using in-house systems and supplier systems. Customer communications and appointment scheduling along with other common day to day clerical activities are included.
The job vacancy is to replace a full-time, permanent employee who is retiring. Our preferred employee would be a full time person but we are flexible to consider job sharing and working hours more convenient to the employee.
The business hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm. No overtime, no weekend work. Admin offices are closed for approximately three weeks over the Christmas holiday period.
Pay rate is negotiable around experience and availability.
Pay: $28.24 – $31.11 per hour
