At Construction Equipment Australia (CEA), we're looking for experienced Service Technicians to join our busy workshop team in Horningsea Park. This is your opportunity to work on some of the world's leading construction and earthmoving equipment while enjoying the stability, support and career opportunities of a growing national business.
Whether you're an experienced diesel fitter, mobile plant technician or heavy vehicle mechanic, you'll be joining a team that values quality workmanship, teamwork and continuous development.
No two days are the same. In this hands-on role you'll:
- Service, maintain and repair a broad range of construction and earthmoving equipment
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults
- Complete machine inspections and pre-delivery preparations
- Carry out repairs to manufacturer standards
- Accurately complete service reports, job cards and maintenance records
- Work closely with your workshop team to keep jobs moving efficiently
- Follow safety, quality and company procedures at all times
- Help improve equipment reliability and minimise downtime for our customers
You take pride in your work, enjoy solving technical problems and have a genuine passion for working on heavy machinery.
You'll ideally have:
- A trade qualification in Mobile Plant Technology, Diesel Fitting, Heavy Vehicle Mechanics or similar
- Experience working on earthmoving, construction, mining or mobile plant equipment
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Good hydraulic and mechanical knowledge
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A commitment to safety and delivering quality workmanship
