As a Truck/Equipment Driver at Wide Open Agriculture Limited, you will help keep farm operations moving by safely transporting grain, supplies, equipment, and materials between farms, silos, depots, and processing sites. You will also operate agricultural equipment and vehicles to support daily field and logistics tasks. Your role is important for ensuring the smooth flow of materials that help the business run effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive trucks and vehicles to transport grain, livestock supplies, machinery, and materials between locations.
Operate farm equipment such as tractors, trailers, forklifts, and other machinery as required.
Load and unload goods safely and securely, ensuring correct placement and tie-down.
Perform routine vehicle and equipment checks to keep everything in safe working order.
Keep accurate delivery and transport records and complete related paperwork.
Follow all transport, road safety, and workplace health and safety rules at all times.
Work with farm teams, logistics staff, and operations leaders to meet daily delivery targets.
Skills & Requirements:
Valid driver’s licence (heavy licence preferred or required depending on vehicle class).
Ability to operate trucks and agricultural vehicles safely in different weather and terrain conditions.
Good understanding of road and on-farm safety practices.
Reliable, responsible, and good with time management.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Prior driving or equipment operation experience is an advantage.
