We’re an online business based in Heathwood, Brisbane, currently looking for a casual warehouse team member to assist with daily operations.
The role involves picking and packing orders, as well as handling and moving cartons. Some items can be heavy(20kg), so a reasonable level of physical fitness is required.
This is a long-term casual position, with the potential to transition into a permanent full-time role as the business continues to grow. We are looking for someone who can stay in this position for at least 6 months through Christmas Peak time, so please do not apply if you are only available for a shorter period.
Position details:
- Monday to Friday (weekdays only)
- Morning shifts
- Minimum 5 hours per shift
- 25 to 38 hours per Week
- Flexible start times each morning
Key responsibilities include:
- Picking and packing online orders
- Receiving incoming stock and dispatching outgoing stock
- Replenishing stock on shelves
- Organising the warehouse, including moving cartons to the correct locations
- General cleaning after order packing
You will mostly be working independently, although other coworkers may occasionally assist during busier periods. We would prefer someone who lives close to Heathwood for convenience.
We are looking for someone who can stay in this position for the next 6 months or longer, including the Christmas peak period, and who is comfortable working independently most of the time. As this is primarily a pick-and-pack role, some tasks can be repetitive, so we're looking for someone who doesn't mind routine work and can stay focused throughout the day.
