Are you ready to take on a diverse and rewarding role based out of Cairns or Townsville and covering sites at Cairns, Townsville and Tully? At Holcim, we're seeking a Production Supervisor to provided day-to-day coverage to our operations at across the region to cover staff leave to ensure we are able to maintain our great customer service. This hands-on position offers a mix of responsibilities, from batching to yard control and contractor coordination, perfect for a proactive individual who enjoys autonomy and variety in their work.

- Championing a strong safety culture and ensuring compliance at all times.
- Managing concrete production using various systems and processes.
- Allocating and assigning loads efficiently to drivers.
- Overseeing stock management, coordinating deliveries, and maintaining site operations.
- Supervising contractors for site maintenance and ensuring quality standards are met.
- Hands-on yard maintenance and operating front-end loaders or forklifts.
- Supporting manual handling and other operational tasks as needed.
You are a self-starter with a passion for safety and the ability to thrive in a hands-on, autonomous role. With a strong work ethic and results-driven approach, you excel in managing diverse tasks while contributing to a collaborative and positive work environment.
- Independent and proactive, with the ability to work unsupervised.

- Strong problem-solving and communication skills, especially under pressure.
- Physically capable of performing all role-related tasks.
- Requirements:
- Previous experience working within the concrete industry (preferred but not essential)
- Able to commit to travel to various site and staying overnight as required when covering ongoing leave.
- Current driver's license and reliable transport.
- Front-end loader or forklift competency (preferred but not essential).
- Willingness to complete a pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screening.
