About the role
This is a hands-on trade role with added responsibility of supervising, coordinating and carrying out efficient and cost-effective maintenance and minor new work within the West Moreton Hospital and Health Service (WMHHS).

Mandatory Requirements:
All Trade Coordinators are required to hold a Certificate in General Safety Induction (Construction Industry).
In addition, the following is mandatory:
TC Building Services - a Queensland recognised Carpentry Trade Qualification
TC Electrical - a Queensland recognised Electrical Trade Qualification
TC Plumbing - proof of successful completion of an apprenticeship in Plumbing and Draining, along with a current licence to work as a plumber and drainer in Queensland
TC Mechanical Services - a Queensland recognised Electrical Trade Qualification or successful completion of a qualification that makes the holder eligible for a QBCC Refrigeration, Air Conditioning and Mechanical Services Licence
It is a condition of employment for this role for the employee to be, and remain, vaccinated against the following vaccine preventable diseases during their employment as required by HED 01/16 Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD) Requirements/HR Policy B1 [measles, mumps, rubella, varicella (chicken pox), pertussis (whooping cough), hepatitis B].
Pre-employment screening, including criminal history and discipline history checks, may be undertaken on persons recommended for employment.
