NHP are seeking an experienced
Sales Manager – Regional VIC to lead a remote/hybrid sales team across key regional Victorian markets including Warrnambool, Portland, Shepparton, Bendigo and Geelong. This opportunity has become available due to an internal move and will suit a proven sales leader who understands the electrical industry and can drive strong people, customer and commercial outcomes.
The role can be managed from Melbourne or Geelong, with time spent in the Melbourne office twice a week and regular travel across the regional territory.
Reporting to the State Manager – Sales VIC/TAS, you will work closely with the VIC/TAS leadership team and internal stakeholders to align customer plans, territory priorities and sales activity with NHP’s broader growth strategy.
You’ll be joining a high-performance sales culture where accountability, customer focus and team success are valued, with the opportunity to lead, influence and make a meaningful impact across your territory.
Responsibilities include:
- Lead, coach and develop a remote/hybrid sales team across regional Victoria, building capability, engagement and accountability
- Manage the regional territory including Warrnambool, Portland, Shepparton, Bendigo and Geelong, with regular time spent in market
- Build and maintain strong relationships with End Users, Electrical Contractors, OEMs, Switchboard Builders and System Integrators
- Manage major customers within the portfolio, ensuring strong account planning, commercial discipline and customer engagement
- Drive territory and customer plans, including opportunity qualification, pipeline development, forecasting and sales execution
- Collaborate with branch, product, marketing and leadership teams to deliver a seamless customer experience and sustainable growth
Ideally you will have / be:
- Proven Sales Manager experience, ideally within the electrical, industrial, construction or technical products sector
- Demonstrated experience leading and managing a team remotely or in a hybrid environment
- Strong understanding of the electrical industry, customer base and sales environment
- Strong commercial acumen across pricing, margin, negotiation and long-term account growth
- A people-first leadership style with the ability to set clear expectations, build trust and support team performance
- Willingness to spend regular time across regional Victoria and attend the Melbourne office twice a week
