About the Role: As a Clinical Nurse in Mental Health, you will serve as a pivotal member of the Sonder team, contributing to the delivery of high-quality mental health care. You will be a key component of the multi-disciplinary team, actively participating in ongoing professional development and contributing to the refinement of service delivery and operations within the Head to Health service.
This role includes planning and implementing assessment and care for individuals in distress, within a person-centred approach and in line with the Head to Health nursing scope of practice; providing appropriate brief interventions to Guests accessing Head to Health services; liaising with other services and stakeholders regarding guest care; participating in individual and group supervision, team meetings and external meetings; and providing leadership to the team through shift coordination in the absence of senior staff.
You will play a crucial role in fostering a supportive and inclusive environment, embracing change, and upholding the Head to Health/Sonder vision, values and purpose.
This position is based at the Northern Head to Health Centre on Gillingham Road, Elizabeth and supported by the Clinical Lead – Head to Health, Operations Lead – Head to Health, and other leadership staff within Sonder’s Mental Health and AOD portfolio.

Experience Requirements:
Demonstrated experience working within a fast-paced environment
Minimum of two (2) years clinical practice in mental health treatment and care,
Qualification and Other Requirements:
Current or willing to obtain a Working with Children's Check (WWCC)
Current or willing to obtain a National Police Check (NPC)
Current registration as a Registered Nurse with a mental health qualification.
