As our business continues to grow, we are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a dynamic commercial environment and wants to contribute beyond traditional accounting by supporting business analysis and decision-making.
About the Role
Reporting to Management, you will be responsible for the day-to-day accounting functions while providing financial insights to support business operations and strategic decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting activities
- Prepare monthly management reports and financial statements.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Prepare BAS, payroll tax, superannuation and other statutory reporting.
- Process payroll and ensure compliance with Australian employment legislation.
- Assist management with budgeting, forecasting and business planning.
- Analyse financial and operational data to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
- Prepare sales, inventory, rental and profitability reports for management.
- Assist management in evaluating business performance through financial analysis and KPI reporting.
- Liaise with external accountants, auditors and government authorities when required.
- Continuously improve accounting procedures and internal controls.
- Work closely with Sales, Service, Operations and HR teams to improve overall business performance.

Pay: $65,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
