About the opportunity
We have an opportunity for an Administration Officer to join our hard-working team at StarTrack based at Perth Airport. With e-commerce booming, our Administration Officer will provide critical operational support to keeping things moving.
Our Administration Officer is a key support to the Perth operations team. You will be supporting internal and external stakeholders for multiple areas of the business including operations, management, and customers. Whether you are assisting the team with administration tasks, assisting with enquiries, obtaining delivery information, or supporting the busy operations team, every day you will use your superior organising skills to ensure all tasks are completed correctly and efficiently. This full time permanent role works Monday to Friday 8.00am - 4.06pm with occasional approved paid overtime. As this role does sort and lift freight on occasion, a lifting capacity up to 30kg is required.
About you
- Experience working in an operational environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Enjoy working safely and respectfully with management, drivers, supervisors and customers
- Confidence and experience using computers, Excel, Word, Outlook and in house programs
- Sound analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift freight on occasion (lifting capacity of 30kg required, to be assessed as part of a medical)
