Your new role:
As the HVAC Coordinator, you will plan, coordinate and oversee maintenance activities, resources and contractors supporting hospital HVAC, air quality and mechanical systems. Working with internal teams and external providers, you will provide technical expertise, manage asset performance, support compliance requirements and drive safe, efficient maintenance outcomes across Metro South Health sites.
About you:
You are a skilled HVAC professional with strong coordination capabilities and a commitment to delivering safe, reliable and compliant maintenance services within a complex healthcare environment. You will have:
Demonstrated experience in HVAC/mechanical services maintenance, coordination and fault management.
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, air quality requirements, relevant legislation, standards and safety practices.
Ability to coordinate contractors, manage resources and deliver maintenance activities within agreed timeframes and budgets.
Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to provide technical advice and build effective working relationships.
Experience using maintenance management systems and digital tools to monitor assets, track works and support continuous improvement.
