To provide clinical education and training within the ward/unit to promote competence of nursing/midwifery staff

You hold current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and possess relevant post-registration clinical and/or educational qualifications, supported by extensive professional experience appropriate to the role. You demonstrate the ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively, contributing positively within multidisciplinary healthcare teams to achieve high-quality patient and organisational outcomes.
You are committed to maintaining excellence in professional practice through ongoing self-development and by supporting the learning and development of colleagues. Your ability to mentor, educate, and guide others reflects a strong dedication to continuous improvement and the advancement of nursing practice.
You have demonstrated competence in the delivery of adult education at ward and unit level, with a sound understanding of learning principles, assessment methodologies, and evidence-based educational strategies. You effectively facilitate learning environments that enhance knowledge, skills, and clinical performance among healthcare staff.
Your strong communication skills enable you to engage effectively with patients, families, colleagues, and stakeholders through written, verbal, interpersonal, and information technology platforms. You consistently demonstrate professionalism, adaptability, and the ability to communicate complex information clearly and appropriately.
You hold a current NSW Driver Licence and are willing and able to travel as required to meet organisational and service delivery needs, demonstrating flexibility, reliability, and commitment to providing support across a range of healthcare settings and locations.
