About the Role
The Team Leader Logistics plays a critical role in leading the design and implementation of NSW Electoral Commission’s logistical strategies and support services.
As the Team Lead, you will have strong logistical experience managing complex day to day operations in a multifaceted or event-based environment. You will possess strong communication skills and proven ability to manage multiple stakeholder relationships ensuring contractual obligations and requirements are met.
To be successful in this position, you will also have experience leading and managing a logistical team to plan, establish and maintain performance standards throughout the lifecycle including planning, bump-ins, operations and decommission activities.
The role is a Temporary Full-time position until 30th June 2027.
Key knowledge, experience and essential requirements
As the successful candidate, you will have:
- Tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent experience.
- Significant experience in large scale logistics, operations and/or supply chain management.
- Experience managing a small team to deliver business critical outcomes.
- Experience in supplier relationship management and contract administration.
- Politically neutral with no affiliation to political parties or lobbyists/campaigners.
- Satisfactory criminal record check result.

This role is based at our Elizabeth Street, Sydney office, leading into election time you will be expected to be in the office full-time and possibly work in other remote locations across Greater Sydney NSW, based on business requirements.
