Salary - $116,981.00 - $129,492.00 pa, plus superannuation and leave loading
Your role
As a Conduct Case Officer, you will manage conduct matters using a structured case management approach, including investigating allegations of misconduct, reportable conduct, and serious wrongdoing involving DCJ employees. The role ensures matters are handled fairly, consistently, and in line with policy and legislative requirements, offering a strong opportunity to build investigative expertise while contributing to integrity and accountability across the organisation.
What you’ll do
As a Conduct Case Officer (CaPS) you will conduct thorough and ethical investigations, including conducting interviews and providing clear, evidence-based advice and recommendations to management on allegations of misconduct or reportable conduct. You will maintain accurate case records, analyse data to support performance monitoring and reporting, and contribute to continuous improvement by reviewing policies and identifying trends or systemic issues. Day-to-day, you will balance case management, stakeholder engagement, and analytical work to ensure high-quality outcomes and compliance with regulatory obligations.
In the Conduct Unit, you will be part of a dedicated team that works to uphold the values and ethics of DCJ. The team works to support all staff and the broader People Branch and ensure that all DCJ staff provide the highest level of service to all clients, including the most vulnerable members of the NSW community.
What we’re looking for
In addition to the essential requirements outlined in the role description, the ideal candidate is self-motivated, a critical thinker who can interpret and analyse evidence regarding allegations of misconduct. They shall have experience in conduct case management, have high attention to detail and excellent communication skills
