Your New Role
Join the Investment Strategy team and help shape the investment solutions that support members through retirement. This is a unique opportunity to sit at the intersection of investment strategy, asset liability management and retirement outcomes, leading strategic initiatives that influence portfolio design, retirement defaults and long-term member outcomes. Your role will include:
- Develop and enhance analytical models and quantitative frameworks that support investment strategy, retirement strategy and member outcomes.
- Conduct quantitative analysis and modelling to generate insights and recommendations that inform strategic initiatives and investment decision-making.
- Partner with stakeholders across Investments, Retirement, Product, Advice and Policy to deliver strategic projects and initiatives.
- Produce high-quality analysis, reports, presentations and briefing materials for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Support engagement with academic institutions and external research partners, helping translate research findings into practical business applications.
How do you exceed our expectations?
- The idea of being part of our growth is exciting and you want to play a pivotal role in making super simple.
- Tertiary qualifications in actuarial studies, finance, mathematics, statistics, computing or a related quantitative discipline. A relevant honours year or doctorate with quantitative research background is a plus.
- Exceptional quantitative, analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience developing and interpreting financial, investment or statistical models.
- Strong coding capability with Python, R, Matlab or similar analytical tools, including experience leveraging AI-assisted approaches.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into clear and practical insights.
- Experience in investments, superannuation or a related research environment, with knowledge of financial markets and asset allocation highly regarded.
- Progress towards CFA, FIAA or a similar qualification is advantageous.
- You are balanced in accepting risk in any decision you face. You are curious to understand risk context and choose to speak up as we simplify, learn and grow.
