About the Role
HPS is seeking an enthusiastic and patient-focused Oncology Pharmacist to join our team at HPS Alexander Avenue in Ashford.
This role offers the opportunity to work within a specialist oncology pharmacy environment, supporting the delivery of high-quality pharmacy services to patients undergoing cancer treatment. Working alongside experienced pharmacists, technicians and healthcare professionals, you will play a key role in promoting medication safety, optimising therapy outcomes and supporting exceptional patient care.
Whether you are an experienced oncology pharmacist or looking to further develop your oncology expertise, this position provides access to a supportive team, strong clinical leadership and ongoing professional development opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Provide clinical pharmacy services to oncology patients
Review chemotherapy and supportive care treatment regimens
Support safe preparation and supply of oncology medications
Collaborate with prescribers, nurses and multidisciplinary teams
Promote medication safety and quality use of medicines
Participate in clinical governance and quality improvement activities
Provide medication counselling and education where required
About You
Current AHPRA registration as a Pharmacist (mandatory)
Oncology pharmacy experience highly regarded
Strong clinical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care
