Branch Manager

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced and motivated Branch Manager to lead our Seven Hills branch.
Reporting to the NSW State Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and performance of the branch, ensuring excellent customer service, sales growth and a positive team environment.
This is a hands-on role where you will work closely with customers and the branch team, supporting trade counter, customer service and operational activities while driving sales growth and branch performance.
Key Responsibilities
This is a varied and fast-paced role that offers the opportunity to make a real impact. Working closely with customers, your team and key stakeholders across the business, you will play an important role in driving branch performance, customer satisfaction and operational excellence.
Your key focus areas will include:
Branch Leadership
- Lead, coach and develop the branch team to achieve sales, service and operational objectives.
- Foster a positive, accountable and customer-focused culture through effective leadership and performance management.
- Recruit, onboard and develop team members.
- Actively participate in branch operations, including trade counter and customer service activities.
- Monitor branch performance against key metrics including sales revenue, gross margin, backorders, order activity and call statistics, and assist the Sales Manager in managing branch operating expenses.
Sales & Customer Service
- Deliver branch sales and gross margin targets while supporting profitable growth.
- Build strong relationships with customers, integrators, installers, consultants and end users.
- Support major account growth in partnership with the external sales team.
- Drive customer service excellence across all areas of the branch and ensure a consistent, professional customer experience.
- Resolve escalated customer enquiries and issues promptly and effectively.
Branch Operations
- Ensure branch processes, service standards, quality expectations and compliance requirements are consistently met.
- Promote a safe working environment and support compliance with company policies and Workplace Health & Safety requirements.
- Work closely with the Operations team, National Distribution Centre and other branches to support customer fulfilment and service delivery.
- Manage returns, warranty claims and stock adjustment requests in accordance with company procedures.
Identify opportunities to improve branch efficiency, productivity and customer outcomes.
