The Deli by Greenhorns is growing! We operate a fast-paced, high-quality production kitchen in Osborne Park, supplying our popular venues with fresh, delicious deli items. We pride ourselves on a clean, organised, and supportive team environment.
We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Casual Kitchen Hand to join our production team. This is a consistent, full-time equivalent roster (38 hours a week), making it perfect for someone who wants stable casual hours with their weekends completely free.
What the Role Involves:
- Assisting our kitchen team with basic food prep (chopping veggies, portioning ingredients, packing items).
- Operating the commercial dishwasher and managing hand-washing of large production equipment.
- Maintaining strict cleanliness and food safety standards across the kitchen.
- Ensuring the washing stations, floors, and prep surfaces are sanitised and kept tidy throughout the shift.
- Assisting with receiving and organising stock deliveries.
What We Are Looking For:
- Reliability: You show up on time, every day, ready to support the team.
- Pace & Stamina: Experience in a fast-paced commercial kitchen, production environment, or catering facility is highly regarded.
- Team Player: You have a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
- Communication: Good verbal communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Rights to Work: Valid working rights in Australia for a 38-hour week.
