The Position
Responsibilities of the role include:

Providing counselling to children, young people, adults, couples, and families, using evidence based therapeutic and brief intervention approaches tailored to individual client needs.
- Delivering client-centered, trauma-informed and culturally responsive support to Aboriginal and culturally and linguistically diverse (CaLD) clients and carers.
- Facilitating psychoeducation, workshops and group sessions on communication, boundaries, coping skills and family dynamics to build client and carer capacity.
- Developing and maintaining collaborative relationships with schools, community organisations, health providers, youth services and carer networks to support coordinated and integrated service delivery.
- Supporting clients to navigate support systems, community resources and service pathways to enhance access to appropriate care and ongoing support.
About You
Minimum qualifications:

Tertiary Degree in Counselling, Psychology or Social Work
- Current Driver's License
- Proof of Australian Working Rights
You will also either have or be willing to obtain the following:

National Police Clearance (within 6 months)
- Working with Children Card
- Current First Aid Certificate
