Hofmann Engineering has a vacancy available for a Supply & Distribution Manager at our Bassendean workshop.

Task & responsibilities
- Develop and implement end-to-end supply chain and distribution strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and meet the company’s business objectives.
- Oversee procurement, inventory management and distribution planning, conduct inventory audits, and maintain optimal stock levels for stable production and order fulfilment.
- Manage inbound and outbound logistics, oversee transportation fleet operation and scheduling, and optimize transport routes.
- Resolve supply chain disruptions, establish emergency plans, and continuously improve delivery performance.
- Lead warehouse and transport teams, set performance indicators, provide training, and foster safety and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with sales, transportation and other teams to align supply chain activities with business goals.
- Establish and monitor supply chain KPIs, conduct performance reviews, and implement improvement measures.
- Monitor supplier performance, conduct vendor evaluations, and drive supplier development and relationship management.
- Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety (WHS) regulations, and implement risk management frameworks across the supply chain.
