We are looking for an energetic, organized, and customer-obsessed Office Manager to be the face of our academy and keep our daily operations running flawlessly.
The Role & Schedule
This is a casual part-time position with excellent growth potential to permanent for the right candidate. If you love a mix of administration, customer connection, and making an impact on children's education, this role is for you.
- Initial Schedule: Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays (with a view to expand to Mondays as the academy grows).
- Shift Times: 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM (12 hours per week initially).
- Location: On-site at TechEd Academy, Ashmore.
Key Dates & Timeline:
- Official Start Date: Tuesday, 14th July.
- Onboarding & Training: Commencing training week prior (week of 29th June or 6th July). Applicants must be available during this week for paid onboarding.
Key Responsibilities
As our Office Manager, your mission is to ensure the academy is set up for success every single day. Your day-to-day will involve:
- Exceptional Customer Service: Welcome students and parents with high energy, taking face-to-face enquiries and ensuring every family experiences premium service standards.
- Enquiry Management: Confidently handle immediate requests and triage complex matters to the Academy Directors for swift action.
- Studio Administration: Maintain and update our Studio Management software, managing data accuracy and executing administrative tasks directed by the owners.
- Value Advocacy (Internal Sales): Engage with parents to ensure their children are maximizing everything TechEd Academy has to offer, while actively driving academy growth by asking for reviews and referrals.
- Daily Readiness: Open, prepare, and organize the studio environment so that instructors and students step into a space ready for learning.
What We Are Looking ForEssential Criteria:
- A Passion for Education: A genuine drive to deliver world-class customer service and contribute to a business dedicated to children's educational growth.
- Communication Mastery: Native English speaker with flawless, high-level verbal and written communication skills.
- Compliance: A current Working With Children (WWC) Check (or the immediate ability to obtain one).
- Tech Savvy: Comfortable navigating digital platforms, databases, or studio management software.
- Availability: Confirmed availability for the onboarding week (week of 6th July) and the official start date (14th July).
Highly Desirable:
- Proven experience in Office Management, Reception, or Studio Administration.
- Formal qualifications in Business Administration, or currently studying towards a degree in Children's Education.
