Nova Life Support Services is seeking an experienced and compassionate Disability Support Worker to support an adult male participant in the Leumeah area.
This role involves providing in-home support, community access and transport, while working within a multidisciplinary team to support the participant's goals and wellbeing.
About the Role
- Ongoing evening shifts throughout the week, with the potential for a rotating weekend morning shift.
- Provide in-home support, community access and transport to appointments/activities.
- Implement strategies outlined in a Behaviour Support Plan.
- Work collaboratively with the participant's allied health professionals and support network.
- Maintain accurate documentation and professional boundaries at all times.
We're Looking For Someone Who Has:
- Experience supporting people living with disability and/or mental health.
- Confidence working independently and following support plans.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to maintain professional boundaries.
- A calm, patient and reliable approach.
- A commitment to providing consistent, person-centred support.
Essential Requirements
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working With Children Check
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
- Full Australian Driver's Licence
- Comprehensive Vehicle Insurance
- Reliable, registered vehicle
Preferred
- Experience supporting people with autism and/or psychosocial disabilities.
- Previous experience working with behaviours of concern or behaviour support plans.

Pay: $45.28 – $95.10 per hour
