What we are looking for:
We’re seeking a Business Analyst to help shape how Council operates by driving the successful implementation and optimisation of our TechnologyOne ERP.
In this role, you’ll deliver business and systems analysis, by working closely with stakeholders to model and improve business processes, plan and coordinate testing (including UAT), and prepare clear business, system and user documentation to enable effective adoption.
You’ll also play a key part in continuous improvement—identifying opportunities to enhance service delivery, efficiency and compliance with Council frameworks.

What you’ll need for success:
- Proven capability in business and systems analysis, problem resolution and business process design within ERP or corporate systems contexts.
- Demonstrated experience modelling processes and documenting user stories/use cases, workflows, data flows and business rules.
- Experience in ERP implementation and configuration (preferably TechnologyOne) and in planning/coordinating testing including UAT.
- Well‑developed communication and stakeholder engagement skills, including facilitation, negotiation and preparation of user/system documentation.
- Ability to work collaboratively in project teams, contribute to change activities and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Valid class C or CA driver licence (provisional or open) to drive a vehicle in Queensland.
What's nice to have:
- Tertiary qualification (AQF Level 7) in an IT‑related or business discipline.
- Knowledge of and experience with the TechnologyOne suite of products.
- Experience in local government environments.
- Familiarity with tools such as TestRail, Prime, Scribe, Planner, etc.
