ABOUT THE ROLE
We have an exciting opportunity to join our Credit team, in a fast-paced and high-volume environment where attention to detail is essential. Based at our Head Office in South Brisbane, QLD, this role is ideal for a proactive and professional individual who is committed to excellence and thrives in a high-performing, energetic team.
In this position, you will work with customers to provide practical solutions while collaborating with internal departments to deliver an outstanding customer experience and achieve positive outcomes.
Responsibilities include:

Monitor and manage customer accounts to ensure timely payment

Chase overdue invoices via phone, email, and written correspondence

Prepare regular aged debt reports and highlight risks to management

Investigate and resolve invoice queries promptly
-
Liaise with internal and external Stakeholders to help resolve issues that are preventing payment
-
Handling challenging conversations with professionalism
-
Reconciling accounts, resolving queries and ensuring all collection actions are accurately tracked
- Maintaining accurate and compliant records of all customer communications

Ensure adherence to company credit policies and relevant legislation

Recommend process improvements to enhance collection efficiency

ABOUT YOU
Candidates must have:
-
Certificate III or similar qualification (or equivalent industry experience).

Minimum 3+ years’ experience as a Credit Controller, preferably within FMCG
-
Strong understanding of credit control principles and accounting basics
-
Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to engage customers and internal stakeholders
-
Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., SAP)

High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
-
Exceptional time management and organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities

Adaptability in a fast-paced, evolving environment
