Fleet Services plays a critical role in ensuring the City's extensive fleet of vehicles, plant and equipment are safe, reliable and available to support service delivery across the organisation. The team is committed to maintaining high standards of safety, compliance, operational performance and customer service while delivering cost-effective solutions for the City.
About the role
As a Fleet Customer Service Officer, you'll be the first point of contact for customers and internal stakeholders requiring fleet maintenance and support at our Carrara depot.
You'll play an important role in keeping Fleet operations running smoothly by coordinating maintenance requests, supporting our workshop teams and ensuring work is accurately recorded and progressed through our maintenance systems.
You'll work closely with Fleet teams, customers and external suppliers to deliver timely, cost-effective and high-quality outcomes, while also contributing to continuous improvement across our maintenance processes and systems.

You will have:
Demonstrated experience in customer service, administration, service coordination or a similar operational environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to confidently engage with customers, internal teams and external suppliers.
Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple requests and competing priorities.
High attention to detail and accuracy when entering, maintaining and managing information in business systems.
Demonstrated ability to identify issues, develop practical solutions and follow tasks through to completion.
Experience using maintenance management, work order or enterprise systems – highly regarded
A proactive approach to continuous improvement, with the ability to identify and implement opportunities to improve processes and service outcomes.
The ability to work collaboratively as part of a busy team while also managing tasks independently.
