About the Opportunity
Murrumbidgee Local Health District (MLHD) are looking for passionate and dedicated Registered Nurses to join the Child and Family Health Team. In this position, you will be working alongside a diverse team delivering the Brighter Beginnings Program across within our regional communities. The Brighter Beginnings Program is a collaborative partnership with NSW Department of Education designed to support children’s health and wellbeing, support their developmental milestones and provide opportunities to enable school readiness. This role is critical in supporting our future generations, partnering with communities and families to ensure our young people are supported at every step of their journey.
About You:
To be successful in this position you will:
Hold a current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA), meeting all NMBA Registered Nurse standards for practice, and complying with relevant standards, codes, guidelines and frameworks
Demonstrate a genuine passion and interest in investing in child and family services and supporting positive developmental outcomes for children
Hold (or working towards) a post graduate qualification in Child and Family Health, along with Authorised Nurse Immuniser status and Family Partnership Training Deliver child health and developmental screening within early education settings, including assessment, documentation, care planning and referral pathways
