About the role
We’re looking for a hands-on, all-rounder Support Officer to join our Aged & Community Care team with a new role location at the Ceduna Community Hub.
This role is primarily responsible for driving and safely transporting participants to appointments, services and community activities. Alongside this, you will support the Hub and Aged & Community Care teams to provide services within Ceduna.
You will be part of a national Aged and Community Care team, working in a way that respects each person’s choices, culture and independence.
We’re looking for someone who:
Is a safe and confident driver with a valid South Australian class C drivers’ licence who is willing to drive a 12-seater vehicle.
Is organised and comfortable with admin tasks and a range of software platforms
Communicates clearly and builds strong relationships
Can manage a mix of practical and coordination work
What you will bring
- Provide safe, reliable transport for participants
- Support participant intake and onboarding
- Take bookings and respond to participant enquiries
- Add and maintain records in a range of databases
- Act as a link between the Ceduna Hub and central Aged Care operations teams
- Support delivery of community-based supports as needed
- Assist with volunteers as needed
