Mobile Attendant Care Service (MACS) is a non-profit, charitable organisation that operates in the Brisbane community. We provide short duration drop-in support for people with physical disabilities, we assist our clients with daily living activities to enhance their comfort and lifestyle, primarily throughout the night when often other supports are unavailable.

Flexible Morning & Lifestyle Assistance Shifts
Are you a compassionate and reliable individual looking to make a meaningful impact in someone’s daily life? We’re seeking a dedicated Support Worker to assist with short morning drop-in shifts and lifestyle support across select hours
Shifts Available:
- Drop-In Support: short shifts between 6:00am – 10:00am from our main office in Kedron.
- Lifestyle Assistance: Regular support hours 8:00am – 10:00am and 12:00pm – 3:00pm in the Nundah and Bridgeman Downs area.
Responsibilities:
- Morning assistance with daily routines and personal care
- Support with community access, light domestic tasks, and companionship
- Promoting independence and wellbeing in a respectful, person-centred way
Qualifications and experience
- A qualification in community services/disability/individual support is preferable.
- Ability to support others with personal care and domestic duties – and be happy for this to be part of your job.
- Current Full Drivers License.
- NDIS Orientation Module
- NDIS Worker Screening (yellow card).
- First Aid / CPR, or willingness to obtain within 1 month of employment.
- High levels of enthusiasm, initiative and a positive attitude while acting with integrity, honesty and respect.
