We are seeking a Project Administrator to join our growing team! This role presents a great opportunity to work within an experienced team to broaden your skills within the Civil Construction industry.
Our current portfolio comprises Bulk Earthworks, Land Development and Civil Infrastructure in the Perth metro area. You will work with the Project team, supervisor and business stakeholders to deliver successful project and company outcomes.
Accountabilities of the role:
- Provide administrative project support to the project team, including document control, financial administration, HSEQ compliance and communication.
- Arrange project permits.
- Maintain drawings and document registers; ensure updates are controlled and communicated.
- Apply for ATCO gas packs where required.
- Obtain quotes from approved suppliers/subcontractors and raise purchase orders as required by the Project Manager and their team members.
- Request and distribute Dial Before You Dig (DBYD) information at commencement and on the required refresh cycle.
- Coordinate dilapidation surveys (with resident letters) and maintain the associated register for future reference.
- Assist in the establishment of project kick off tasks as required by the Project Manager and their team members. (e.g. project commencement checklists).
- Where required, liaising with Council for Building Licenses, Coordinate BCTIF Levy Payments etc.
Skills & Requirements:
- Certificate in Administration (or equivalent experience).
- 2–3 years’ experience in administration (construction/resources preferred).
- WA Drivers Licence.
- Full Australian working rights.
- Ability to undergo a full pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screen.
- High level of organisation and communication skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Office.
- The ability to think independently and display initiative.
- Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
