Paulie's Pizza Pezzo (pauliespizza.com.au) is a New York-style slice shop on Oxford Street, Darlinghurst. We hand made make crispy, foldable 18" pies on a 24-hour sourdough. We've only just opened and we're building something with real energy - a venue, a brand and a community of people who love great pizza and good times.
The role
We're looking for a Social Media Manager / Content Creator who can take full ownership of our online presence and drive growth across Instagram and TikTok. This is a hands-on, non-office role. You'll be filming in-store, capturing real moments and creating content that reflects the energy of Paulie's. You come with ideas, you move fast and you know how to build a brand that feels alive.
Work style & flexibility

- Not an office role - hands-on and in-store, on your schedule
- You can take on other jobs, work on your film script, finish your degree or whatever your interesting life calls for
What you'll do - we're paying for the output, you manage your time
- 2–4 short-form videos per week (Reels/TikToks) -fresh, on-brand, ideas-led
- 2–3 carousel posts per week
- Regular story content - behind the scenes, daily updates, community moments
- Active community engagement - responding, connecting, growing our following
- Influencer management - finding the right people, building genuine relationships, coordinating visits and content
- Giveaways and collabs with aligned brands and creators
- Stay on top of trends and make them work for Paulie's
- Track performance and refine strategy
- Use AI tools so your energy goes into the creative and community building work that really matters
What we're looking for
- Experience creating content for Reels and TikTok that actually performs
- A genuine love for food, people and hospitality culture
- Ideas, energy and a can-do attitude - you don't wait to be told what to do
- Familiar with AI tools to support content creation and workflow
- Comfortable filming in busy, real-world environments
- Must have your own equipment (camera/phone, editing tools)

Pay
$1,400 per month. This suits the right energetic person who is studying, working on other creative projects or building their portfolio alongside this role.
