We’re now looking for a Part Time Diploma-qualified Educator — or someone who’s currently studying toward their qualification — to join our vibrant team and help create inspiring learning experiences for young children.
Where you’ll work
Lower Plenty Kindergarten is an Exceeding-rated service with a welcoming community focused on supporting children to grow, learn and thrive. With a program that focuses on school readiness, inclusion and wellbeing, each child is made to feel connected and confident. We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated educator to build and develop meaningful relationships and a sense of belonging to every day.
Role Details:
Diploma Educator
Session times: Tuesday and Thursday - 8:30am to 4:00pm
14 contact hours + 3.5 non-contact hours = 17.5 hours per week
What You’ll Do
As a valued member of our teaching team, you’ll:
- Support play-based learning programs that nurture each child’s growth and development
- Build warm, respectful relationships with children, families, and fellow educators
- Create safe, inclusive environments where every child feels seen, supported, and inspired
- Work collaboratively with your team to deliver exceptional education and care

What You’ll Bring
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or actively studying toward it)
- A genuine interest in supporting children’s development and commitment to ongoing learning
- Current Working With Children's Check, First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications (or willingness to obtain)
- Great teamwork, communication, and reliability
