Truck & Trailer Body Builder / Fabricator
Full-Time Position | Experienced Tradesperson
We’re looking for an experienced Truck & Trailer Body Builder / Fabricator to join our team.
We’re after someone who is hands-on and reliable. The role will involve building, modifying and repairing truck and trailer bodies, along with general fabrication and welding work.
About the Role
Your day-to-day work will include:
-Truck and trailer body building and fabrication
-Repairs and modifications to truck and trailer bodies
-General welding/fabrication
-Working with aluminum, steel and other materials
-Cutting, fitting and assembling components
-Repairing damaged bodies, floors, frames, gates and other components
-Reading and working from drawings and measurements
-General workshop maintenance and fabrication duties
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
-Experience in truck/trailer body building, heavy vehicle fabrication
-Strong welding and fabrication skills
-Experience repairing and modifying truck and trailer bodies
-Good knowledge of steel and aluminum fabrication
-Ability to accurately measure, cut, fit and assemble
-A strong eye for detail and quality workmanship
-Ability to troubleshoot and find practical solutions
-A good work ethic and reliable attitude
-Ability to work safely and independently
-Required trade qualifications

Pay: $40.00 – $50.00 per hour
