About the Role
As an Associate Dentist at Harpley Dental, you will have the opportunity to provide comprehensive dental care in a modern, purpose-built practice supported by a friendly and professional team.
Our clinic is equipped with state-of-the-art dental technology, including a digital intraoral scanner and CBCT imaging technology, allowing you to deliver advanced, efficient, and patient-focused dental care.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing high-quality general dental care to patients in a professional and compassionate manner.
- Performing comprehensive examinations, diagnosis, treatment planning, and preventative care.
- Delivering a broad range of dental treatments while maintaining excellent clinical standards.
- Utilising modern digital dental technology to enhance diagnosis, treatment planning, and patient outcomes.
- Building strong, trusting relationships with patients and providing personalised care.
- Maintaining accurate clinical records and treatment documentation.
- Ensuring compliance with Australian dental regulations, infection control standards, and workplace health and safety requirements.
- Working collaboratively with dental assistants, reception staff, and the wider team to deliver an exceptional patient experience.
- Participating in ongoing professional development and contributing to the growth of the practice.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- A recognised Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) or equivalent qualification recognised by the Australian Dental Council (ADC).
- Current registration with the Dental Board of Australia / AHPRA (or eligibility to obtain registration).
- Professional indemnity insurance.
- A commitment to providing ethical, patient-focused dental care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A positive, professional, and approachable manner.
- Strong clinical judgement and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a supportive team environment.
- A willingness to grow with a new practice and develop long-term patient relationships.
