Job Description
Join a fast-paced logistics environment where you’ll play a key role in supporting the smooth planning and handling of our Customer's freight. As a Customer Service Coordinator, you’ll be the link between customers, internal teams, and operational systems ensuring issues are resolved quickly, accurately, and professionally. This role combines hands-on administration, customer communication, and system-based processing in SAP, with a strong focus on service quality, compliance, and operational efficiency.
You’ll contribute to keeping freight moving, customers informed, and service standards high across every step of the return and issue-resolution process
- Plan and Coordinate deliveries of customer's daily freight needs
- Complete Freight documentation with a high level of attention to detail
- Raise, update, and maintain accurate records in SAP
- Liaise with customers regarding delivery issues, damages, returns, and general enquiries
- Investigate, manage, and resolve customer complaints and service failures
- Coordinate return logistics including re-deliveries, disposals, and quarantined goods
- Monitor temperature breaches and cold chain issues, escalating as required
- Maintain accurate records of incidents, claims, and resolution outcomes
- Provide timely freight updates and status information to internal and external customers
- Communicate and collaborate with internal teams to ensure efficient issue resolution
- Support bookings, enquiries, and general customer service administration tasks
Desired Skills and Experience
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:
- Tertiary qualifications are not essential. Ideally this position will have experience in the Field of Customer Service and in transport in general.
- A working knowledge of office information systems.
- Customer Service experience and skills.
- Data entry experience.
- Advanced analytical and data interpretation skills
- Computer literate
- Ability to work autonomously and with others and foster a good team environment
- Ability to take on challenges with lateral thinking and implement change
- Effective time management and task prioritization
- Good oral and written skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Self-motivated
- SAP System experience
