Modern Asian wine bar on the North Shore.
Seeking a cook or chef. Basic knife and cooking skills required, but we are not too concerned with amount of experience in commercial kitchens.
The role will require prepping produce for the menu, maintaining kitchen and storage cleanliness, counting stock and maintaining prep levels, cooking for dinner services and also dishwashing if necessary (we are a team and we all pitch in).
You will report to two other chefs, and we will teach you the skills and techniques we require. Shifts will generally start around 12PM/1PM and will go to 10/11PM with unpaid breaks in between, depending on how many hours you are rostered for.
The role has a probationary period of minimum 3-6 months depending on skill levels.
Our restaurant operates currently Tuesday - Saturday and does dinner services. In spring/summer we may add lunch services.
Pay: $30.00 – $39.00 per hour
