DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Interpretation of detailed plans;
- Reading and understanding drawings;
- Assembling parts to form sections of furniture and completed components;
- Edging and laminating panels, postforming benchtops;
- Fitting hinges, locks, catches, drawers and shelves;
- Operating all hand and power tools relevant to Cabinetmaking;
- Maintain all equipment in working condition;
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Must hold relevant qualifications and at least 2 years of experience as Cabinetmaker, OR have 3 years of work experience;
- Able to work to a high level of accuracy;
- Able to make mathematical calculations;
- Good communication skills;
- Good hand-eye coordination;
- Able to work independently or as part of a team;
