We are now looking for an experienced Plant Manager to lead our Ingleburn Processing facility and play a key role in delivering safe, efficient and high-quality operations.
This is a significant leadership role where you will be responsible for the overall performance of the site, leading Production, Dispatch and Warehouse teams to ensure customer orders are delivered on time, quality standards are maintained and operational targets are achieved.
What you'll be doing
Reporting to the General Manager you'll lead the day-to-day operation of the facility with a strong focus on safety, quality, customer delivery and continuous improvement.
You will:
- Lead Production, Dispatch and Warehouse teams to achieve operational and customer outcomes.
- Drive performance across key metrics including throughput, yield, giveaway, DIFOT and production volumes.
- Optimise labour utilisation, plant scheduling and operational costs.
- Build a high-performing team culture through coaching, development and accountability.
- Partner closely with Quality, Maintenance and Engineering teams to maximise plant performance.
- Support New Product Development initiatives and the successful introduction of new products.
- Work closely with Sales and Customer teams to ensure customer expectations are met.
- Champion Operational Excellence initiatives and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Maintain strong safety, quality and GMP standards across the facility.
About you
You are an experienced operational leader who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing or processing environment and enjoys leading teams to deliver outstanding results.
You will bring:
- Extensive leadership experience within FMCG, food manufacturing, processing or a similar operational environment.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience managing budgets, labour and operational performance.
- Proven ability to analyse data, solve complex problems and implement practical solutions.
- Experience leading large, cross-functional teams and developing high-performing people.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
- A continuous improvement mindset and passion for operational excellence.
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Food Science, Science, Aquaculture or a related discipline (desirable).
